We recognize the God-given responsibility given to parents to disciple their children. At the Calvary Baptist Kindergarten it is our mission to partner with those parents and provide them with Bible-based, age-appropriate education for preschoolers in a safe, loving Christian environment. We know all preschoolers need to grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and socially. We facilitate this growth through a strong developmental and pre-academic program for each child.

Music Time at CBK exists to provide a fun and creative environment where children can learn and explore music while focusing on the following goals:
- To help children develop their God given talents through music.
- To learn that music can be an expression of Praise and Worship to God.
- To use music to teach Spiritual Truths.

Each week a teacher, a parent, one of Calvary's ministry staff, or another volunteer directs a 15-minute chapel service with object lessons, music, and more. At chapel, God's Word is presented in a fun and engaging way
wHat aBout God
We believe that children must become aware of God and His importance in thier lives. Knowing this will help them as they begin to grow and learn. In this Christ-centered atmosphere, it's our hope that learning experiences are both fun and beneficial for each child. We work hand-in-hand with parents, developing cooperative replationships that serve our children and families.

We use an adapted curriculum developed around themes of understanding God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, self, others and the natural world. Hands-on learning activities include books, art, music, blocks, home loving, nature, puzzles, manipulatives and more. Children are given opportunities to develop thinking and reasoning skills, creativity and learning to get along with others. Each class has planned activities (age-appropriate). A Bible story time is included each day, as well as indoor and outdoor activities.
